MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD AT 7.00PM IN THE CHAPEL SCHOOLROOM, HESSAY, ON FRIDAY 15 JUNE 2018
Present: Councillors Mark Barratt (Chairman), Roger Hildreth, Olivia Johnson and Ann Watson. Also present was the Clerk, James Mackman.

18.064 – TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTEREST (NOT PREVIOUSLY DECLARED) ON ANY MATTERS OF BUSINESS
None.
18.065 – TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES AND APPROVE REASONS FOR ABSENCE
Apologies were received and accepted from Councillor Lord.
18.066 – PLANNING APPLICATIONS
(a) To consider the following planning application

Ref: 18/01023/FUL – Erection of stables in paddock at Mapplefields, 5 Laburnum Farm Close.
The Parish Council objects to the application on the following grounds: –
• The size and scale of the proposed development compared with the area of the paddock and the footprint of neighbouring properties
• The development would be in the Green Belt and we don’t believe that special circumstances have been justified
• The development extends beyond the existing building line
(b) To note Local Authority Planning Decisions
There have been no plans for the City of York Council to consider.
18.067 – TO CONSIDER MINOR MATTERS
It was noted that the Ordnance Surveyor has visited Hessay and inspected the areas of land which the Parish Council is trying to have the Land Registry acknowledge that they are owned by the Parish Council.
18.068 – TO CONSIDER ITEMS FOR THE NEXT AGENDA
None.
18.069 – TO AGREE THE DATE OF NEXT MEETING
It was agreed that the next meeting would be held on the third Wednesday in July i.e. the 18th.
There being no more business the meeting was formally closed at 7.55pm.
